Jethro Tull G is a long legged, tall, dark and handsome stallion who is modern in both type and frame. He started his career off as licensing champion at both the CWB and CSH inspections when he was just 3. As a 4-year-old he attended the NASST and was named champion jumper for north America. As a 5-year-old he continued his winning ways in the young horse jumper series. In 2022 and 2023 he gained experience at the 1.40m level and did his first FEI 1.45m and National level 1.50m. Although still very green he always wants to get to the other side and he is slowly figuring out where his big long legs go. In 2023 he also stepped into the hunter ring where he showed his incredible character, becoming champion of the 3’6″ division at his first show. As a sire Jethro Tull has gone above and beyond our wildest expectations! His offspring have exceptional temperaments, are very trainable and have the athletic ability to become top sport horses. He very consistently flattens the trot while still maintaining his excellent canter. They jump in very good form with ample scope and they are proving to be straightforward and brave under saddle. He has had several top selling offspring at the Fall Classic sale and many trainers requesting another Jethro or 10 in their barns. He suits a variety of mares and is a very consistent producer whether the mare is a fine boned TB or an old style warmblood. He does especially well on a mare if they need a more tractable temperament. His foals aren’t just in a pretty package, they are athletic, trainable and sought after by top professionals for their programs. The icing on the cake is their chrome.
Jethro’s Sire I’m Special De Muze is one of the most exciting stallions of his generation out of one of the best mother-lines in Belgium, Mare line #34 the Kerly line, with no less than 3 mares in a row who have jumped 1.60m. With his sire, Olympic competitor Emerald, who is known for throwing big scopey horses who are careful yet extremely brave, you have a superstar in the making! Jethro is out of a strong mother-line himself, mare line 89. She has some of the most influential stallions of Holland in a direct line – Voltaire x Heartbreaker x Ramiro x Le Mexico, this mother line is responsible for the approved stallions President (Clinton), Ulysses M2S (Ekstein), Ringo G (Concorde) and Taloubet Du Rouet (Baloubet Du Rouet) plus multiple FEI competitors. Jethro brings forward the best traits from Voltaire and Heartbreaker, their good looks combined with exceptional movement and ultra-carefulness. Jethro’s full sibling was the high selling foal at a public foal auction in 2020 in Holland.
